Donald L. Sullivan
Don Sullivan was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He was an attorney and partner with Clapp, Moroney, Bellagamba & Vucinich in the Peninsula offices for twenty-one years, where he initially specialized in personal injury litigation, and later in construction litigation. Subsequently, he became the leader in the Construction Law Department in the Peninsula office. Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience successfully representing developers, general contractors, design professionals and subcontractors in hundreds of lawsuits throughout Northern California. Additionally, he has been lead counsel in hundreds of complex arbitrations and mediations with AAA and JAMS, as well as private professional arbitrators and mediators. As part of his practice, Mr. Sullivan has particular experience in the relationship of insurance to construction related matters, including obligations to defend, tenders and indemnity issues. He has spoken frequently to groups and individual clients on the impact of legal developments in construction litigation. Mr. Sullivan received his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 1984, and his J.D. from Santa Clara School of Law in 1987. He has been named as a "Northern California Super Lawyer", and Judge Pro Tem for the San Francisco Superior Court.
